About MIS

Established in 2000, the Department of Information Management of China University of Science and Technology, including various programs: two-year senior undergraduate program, undergraduate program, two-year and four-year night schools, graduate program, and evening programs for the students who work in special turns, is one of the best departments of this field in Taiwan.

Objective　

The objective of Department / Institute of Information Management is to train excellent people with good skills both in information technology and business management. We also request the students to acquire at least four recognized certificate before they graduate.　

Faculties

All of our faculty members have master degrees or above. Their researches focus on all subjects of the newest technology of Information Management Systems.  Besides, some faculty members have practical working experiences in MIS industries. This helps us to provide students not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experiences.　

Curriculum　

We provide a series of systemic courses, from basic to advanced, in 5 categories as database, network management, programming, information management and business management.　

Facilities

The Department has state-of-the-art computer facilities, consisting of 1 multimedia classrooms, 4 computer classrooms, and 3 research laboratories for special projects.
